The Plastic Fish Factory was founded in the summer of 1996 when a number of musicians met in the Ghent live music scene and bars. The late Kurt Vanpeteghem was guitarist with Mad Dog Loose and also put together his own side project with Luc Waegeman on bass and percussion, Bart Westerduin on acoustic guitar and bass and Kristel Eggers on accordion.
